If you’re just getting caught up, I’m preparing for my second NPC bikini fitness competition on July 11, 2015.I was maybe taken by surprise at how sad I was because I’ve been doing relatively well accepting the loss.But, it hasn’t felt very summery here lately.But, you know how it is when you go away for even a few days, it seems like when you get back there’s so much to do from unpacking to laundry to grocery shopping.With my Dad’s illness, I’ve painfully watched his physical ability diminish to the point where he cannot walk, so I’m always mindful of how grateful I am to be able to move and exercise.I still need to practice at home because I’m not the most fluid or graceful.Next week, he’ll be at a day camp that he’s really looking forward to, so I’ll have a little more time for cardio.I say lifelong journey because as long as I’m alive, I want to take care of myself and never take my health for granted.
